DAY 1 of the Wildlove 30 day yoga challenge 🌿

Easy Pose - Sukhasana

Alignment: A simple posture to begin your yoga practice, your day, or evening meditation. Find a comfortable seated position on the floor, use as many props beneath the outer thighs and pelvis to offer support for the legs and hips. You can guide one leg in front of the other or cross the legs, use this posture to encourage opening of the hips, length within the spine and quietening of the mind. Close your eyes, slowly take your time to focus on your breath. Breathing in to the count of 5, breathing out to the count of 6.

Allow yourself to slowly lose track of time, not worrying about a time limit, just be with your breath and your body.

* Opens the hips, inner thighs

* Stretches the knees and ankles

* Perfect for meditation
