Next month I have a new class starting, Im sharing a very special practice of Yoga Nidra with gentle accompanying sounds. This practice is NOT physical, you will rest and be softly guided into a deep state of rest. Think of it as your own personal relaxation sound bath session.
This practice will be biweekly Tuesdays (Straight after Yin & Myofascial Release).
Starting at on Nov 8th at 7.30pm.
You'll find the Yin class starting time has been amended to 6.00pm start, so we have ample cross over time!
What can you expect from this practice?
Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation also known as “yogic sleep” or “effortless relaxation”. The practice draws our attention inwards, and we learn to surf between the states of wakefulness and sleep, where our body finds its natural state of equilibrium (homeostasis) – the breath balances and becomes quiet, unconscious and conscious aspects of the mind reveal themselves, and we fall into an innate state of deep, blissful awareness.
This practice all participants bring blankets, cushions (Ill provide Bolsters). You wrap yourself up in a cocoon of warmth and lie down for the hour. You will be guided through different meditations, Yoga Nidra, visualisations each session to aid healing within the body and mind.
Healing happens within the body when it can rest and sleep. This session allows you to do just that, there are no demands, instructions, rules, you just rest, as you are.
