WHATS NEW FOR OCTOBER?

October is upon us and Im in love with the sunny weather with the colder mornings, I find Autumn bring such a stillness within the air and that it inspires us to adapt to a quieter pace of life. This months classes and workshops are being shared from a place of quiet introspection and deep love, that this time of the year we have to honour change in our lives and honour the moments of resistance that may appear along the way.

My classes are always inspired by the seasons and you will find that I adapt practices in a way that suits the 'bigger picture' that in Summer we have to slow our energy down and in Autumn and Winter we can explore practices that are not necessarily faster but heat building. Yoga teaches us to feel how we feel and really honour that, learn to be guided by your body and not your mind. So this month you will find lots of new breathing techniques in class, heat building and digestive inspired postures and themes inspired by the art of letting go.

BIWEEKLY YIN & MYOFASCIAL CLASS

I feel so grateful for finding the most beautiful of spots for my classes and workshops, look at this space! Isn't it cosy! My new Yin & Myofascial class is incredibly popular and is by booking only, this is first come first served as its a small group class. Its one of the most relaxing sessions where we don't move around a lot, we use our props to rest and settle onto and we gain a deep release and stretch with the added extra of fascial massage with a ball.

Bi weekly Tuesdays 6.15-7.30pm

Church House, Areley Kings (Stouport)

£10 per person.




 

NEW MONTHLY YOGA & SOUND BATH CLASSES

SUNDAY 9TH OCTOBER

This month you will find a brand new class on the timetable, a very special monthly Relaxation Yoga & Sound Bath. I have created this session as I feel its the perfect opportunity to rest and recalibrate at the end of the week, I also feel its the perfect place to restart, allowing us to wipe the slate clean so we can step into a new week with more clarity and awareness. Yoga & Sound Baths are the most beautiful combination, we move and stretch the body to release aches and pains and bring about a deeper connection to the body, we then enjoy a guided meditation to in-still rest and relaxation. The last part of the practice is a cosy relaxation accompanied by singing bowls and other instruments which allow the mind and body to release tension and stress on a cellular level. So if you're in need of a deep rest, time out and the body yearns for some quiet time this session is for you!

This practice is open to all levels, Booking is essential.

REFLECTIONS FROM EARTH RETREAT

I honestly have no words to describe the weekend of the Earth Retreat, it was AMAZING! Such a beautiful chance to connect to like minded souls and really immerse into practices that bring us back into our bodies and minds and allow us to just surrender into nature.

3 days in nature, cosy yurts, daily yoga practices and the most incredible homemade food we really did life our best lives! Thank you to each and everyone of you who attended, to my gorgeous teachers for holding such beautiful classes and to my beautiful man for working tirelessly to ensure everything ran smoothly!

6 Postures For Autumn

This week why not implement a few of these postures into your practice? You could even practice two each night. We will be doing a lot more Yin yoga over the next few weeks so grab your cosy props and lets unwind!
