Homemade Healthy Chia Jam

A super easy recipe that is going to leave you stumped as to why you have never made (or heard of it!) before. All you need are just 3 ingredients, 10 minutes and a clean jar. Simple!


1 Large cup/handful strawberries

1 tsp honey

2 tbsp chia seeds


  1. Wash and chop the strawberries and place in a clean saucepan.

  2. Turn on the heat low and allow the strawberries to warm through.

  3. After 5-10 minutes the strawberries will begin to break down and turn into a bubbling syrup! (You can heat them for longer, they will just break down more).

  4. You can mash them with a fork until they are soft, if you like your jam with chunks mash less!

  5. Transfer the strawberries into a clean (and heatproof) jar, add the honey and chia seeds and stir thoroughly.

  6. Once mixed leave it to cool at room temperature.

  7. Enjoy when ever you like!

And thats it, the easiest and healthiest jam ever. You can actually leave the honey out but a little Manuka honey can give us a little immunity boost. Store covered in the fridge and enjoy within 3 days. This makes a small batch but perfect for you to try and get used to the servings! Then you can throw in a whole tub of strawberries and see what happens!
