Kale crisps recipe.

Updated: Jan 29

We all love Kale right? We make it a part of our weekly shop right? Kale can be an acquired taste but after a little care and attention you can boost the flavour and take out the bitterness! Kale is AMAZING it's full of iron, vitamin K, vitamin C, vitamin A and is packed full with antioxidants. It also fights inflammation within the body so great for those cold weather aches and pains. Great as a snack throughout the day or part of a meal. Let's get baking!

INGREDIENTS:

x1 half bag curly kale

olive oil

cumin

garlic powder

baking dish

(it really is the simplest dish ever!)

RECIPE:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180.

  2. Drizzle olive oil in the baking dish, just enough to massage and cover all kale.

  3. Add the Kale (Be mindful as it bakes it really shrinks down as you can see in the photo!)

  4. Sprinkle garlic powder and cumin over the top. DON'T OVER DO IT!

  5. Massage the mix for about 5 minutes so every leaf is covered.

  6. Bake in the oven for 5 minutes.

  7. Turn and stir the kale and put back in the oven for another 5 minutes.

  8. Take out, add to your meal warm or enjoy cold!

Another great tip if you're snacking is to sprinkle grated cheese (optional vegan cheese!) on top (yes you heard me, an indulgent version I know, but sooooo good!)

Enjoy!
