Healing Turmeric Milk

I wanted to share with you the lovely drink that has helps me soothe my body and mind through Autumn and Winter. This is wonderful to drink just before bed, and great for easing aches and pains. This recipe can be enjoyed anytime of year, but something about Autumn just really sets off the cravings for our cosy comfort foods and drinks.

This Autumn/Winter warming recipe is great for cold nights, joint aches and pains and aids in a restful sleep.



Soya/Almond milk (No dairy preferable)

1 tsp Turmeric (powdered)

1 tsp Maca powder

1/2tsp Cinnamon (powdered)

1 pinch Ginger (optional)

1 large tsp Manuka Honey OR agave nectar.

2 crunches of cracked Black pepper.



Find your favourite drinking mug and fill it with your choice of milk.

Place milk in a saucepan and gentle heat.

Add Turmeric, Cinnamon, Ginger powders and whisk.

Keep whisking and you'll find a lovely yellow hue appear.

Add the pepper and stir through.

Add the honey and whisk until melted.

Pour and serve.
