Tuesday Yin & Yoga Nidra - Christmas Wind Down


Next Tuesdays practices on the 20th Dec will be the perfect opportunity to wind down before Christmas, I don't know about you but I feel I need practices like this now more than ever. December makes me feel overwhelmed and on edge so softening and finding quiet time to be with myself feels like the best place to be!

New Year, New Class


Within the new year I want to offer a little change to these classes, offering a Slow flow practice (open to all) at 6.00-7.15pm & Yin & Relaxation at 7.30-8.30pm. These classes will perfectly compliment each other and I feel as a new year starts that we reap the benefits from two contrasting practices. They will still be open to ALL abilities, with layers and modifications and as its a personal small group space it will be great for hands on adjustments (with consent) to aid in a deeper personal experience in how you practice.


Slow flow classes will help to build strength, mobility, improve balance, focus and flexibility. Yin classes will help to stretch and release the muscles & connective tissues, we will still also have Myofascial release within this class.


 

New experiences.


As you know I teach in a way that is inspired by philosophy, real life, the seasons, emotions and all manner of concepts, so this new flow yoga class will suit the season of winter. It wont be a fast or crazy flow but a practice that allows us to find movement when we need it the most physically. It will help us stay mobile when our joints feel stiff, it will help us keep warm when its cold outside and it will help us focus the mind as we embark on creating new perspectives for the new year. I want it to be a little nudge in the right direction, that yoga is a place that we can call home and we can learn so many things about ourselves.


I hope you feel inspired to join me for a new exploration into our self development, don't be put off that its not YIN, you will still have lovely notes of rest within the practice, after all, it is slow flow!
