December Newsletter

Happy December!

Hello lovely one, how are you feeling? As we wind down the year, the pace of life might be speeding up but we may find the body really feels as if it wants to slow down. Its okay if you're feeling that and its important to acknowledge that within nature, life is settling into hibernation mode too! Try and take a little more time for yourself this month and into January, find a pace that suits your needs, press pause more often, create healthy boundaries where you can say no when you're not feeling up to something. Don't punish yourself if you're eating more, don't feeling guilty if you miss an exercise class. I think this time of year more than ever is a time where we really need to rest and step off the hamster wheel!

I have lots of updates for next year, so keep reading (and be sure to open the full email in your browser) for all the wonderful details and events to come!

Guidance through classes are celebrating the season of Autumn & Winter. With mudras (hand gestures), to balance out the bodies internal elements. Postures to work with the core in both playful and passive ways and techniques of facial reflexology sprinkled through my poetic philosophy.

A huge thank you to each and everyone of you who has joined me over the last few months, even years! And A huge warm welcome to those who have recently signed up and became a part of the Wildlove Community.

Here are the upcoming events that are open for booking this month & January! The remaining two dates for my Christmas Hartlebury Castle Sound Baths are sold out, hence why they're not on the list! As we wind down the year you can enjoy practices to keep the mind calm through one of the busiest times of the year & enjoy physical practices to aid digestive health, immunity boosting and overall mobility, strength and flexibility in the body.

Workshops are designed as beautiful practices that really help us to create more of a self care routine in our day to day, they are going to be incredibly soothing for the nervous system and the perfect reset as we move towards the last half of the year. Enjoy a mix of my offerings all rolled into these specific sessions, you will soon fall in love with yoga and may it be a welcome place that always helps you to find balance.

All workshops are deeper immersions with more of a personal touch, they really give you an opportunity to delve into the realms of self care and personal development. You don't need any experience, you don't need to do yoga, you just need a little spark of curiosity that wants to help you better yourself, improve your health and wellbeing, to gain a clearer mind and to live a more fulfilling life. I promise you wont be disappointed, and maybe, just maybe, after coming to one you may feel so much better within yourself.

You can find each individual workshop details and booking information on the classes & workshops page, if you have any questions or worries please feel free to get in touch.

Whats new for 2024?

Im very excited to be sharing monthly Friday evening sessions at the M&M Dance studios from January, many of you who have came to a class or a workshop will have hopefully had a taster of Myofascial release at some point! Its an incredibly deep and profound technique that not only releases the connective tissues but can aid full body movement & flexibility! The feedback Ive had from sessions Ive offered previously are amazing, and after a lot of demand from so many people Im happy to be sharing them with you all!

These sessions teach you massage techniques that work with the myofascial tissue in the body, using a small ball and some interesting patterns and movements you can release physical tension, pain and unlock areas of your body that may have been in stagnation for sometime. Just after one session you can feel more spacious, taller, more body aware and may even feel that those tiny nagging aches have faded.

I would highly recommend anyone to try it once, you will be fascinated with the results! This is suitable for absolutely everyone, perfect for runners, gym goers, yogis, those suffering with injury, poor posture, or debilitating conditions. Layers are always offered and you will also gain more knowledge about the meridian lines within the body, not only helping you gain more of a connection to yourself but more confident in how you move your body on a day to day basis.

Self care gift boxes are the perfect little something for those who love the spirited energy of yoga and wellbeing. Handcrafted by Victoria you can enjoy vegan & organic treats and a handpicked Rose Quartz all the way from Avalon Glastonbury. These are limited edition and seasonal so will be updated with new treats and crystals as the year goes by!

Last year myself & Gus loved sharing family sessions, we had a particularly fun time in the forest sharing a sound bath with the families that attended. We are happy to announce we will be offering these monthly from Feb 2024!

From December 1st I have made the difficult decision to no longer teach my Friday evening 7.30pm class. Ive been going over this decision in my mind for over 6 months, with lower class numbers, difficulty having time off, I have to honour my work/life balance and take care of my little boy and amend things to suit my routine with him. This decision doesn't come lightly or easy as I have taught this class for 10 years!

Looking forwards Ill be offering a monthly Friday evening Release & Rest session that not only still offers me financial support but gives me time to be a mother in the best way I can be.

No experience is needed, just a need for rest. This is a perfect practice for everyone, busy minds, all facets of stress in modern lives. This is the perfect place to reset. I want to fill this space, with gorgeous souls, where we can enjoy the reminder of being human. That we can all be held, without interaction or expression, that we can all softly fall into stillness and ease, comfortably without expectation.

As we wind down the year I am reaching out to collect feedback forms, these are all submitted anonymously. Please, please, please can you fill it in for me!

If you have a few spare minutes or feel called to write a little heart felt essay it would be lovely to hear from you.Your feedback means the world to me and can help improve my offerings and also help me know how you feel coming to practice. If you would like to leave a review please click the link below, your feedback could be that little spark that could inspire someone to try yoga, to nudge someone in the right direction and helps to build our Wildlove family! Your input creates a ripple effect and inspires others to begin their self care journey, connecting us all as one, you're not a drop in the ocean, you're the ocean in one drop!

Wildlove Yoga is a heartmade business built and created by Victoria Waits. Her offerings are unique, manifested from the heart and strives to bring people back home to themselves. With this in mind the terms and conditions for her offerings are as follows:

+ Classes are inclusive to all, Victoria feels yoga is for every, body. No matter what age or ability you are, you will be held and supported in your uniqueness. Every class offers layers and suitability to every participant, no matter how many are in a class. Beginners are welcome to join anytime!

+ Classes, workshops and events are non-refundable. Cancellations must be made 72 hours before the session starts. Your booking can be rescheduled to another event free of charge once. No shows will still be charged, rescheduling after the event is not applicable. If Wildlove cancels the event you will be refunded.

+ No photo policy - This is something sacred to Victoria's offerings, she will never photograph a session while teaching or its participants. If you attend you are welcome to take photos of the set up/alter/soundscape your personal group or selfies. Please refrain from photographing others, this honours and respects the personal energy and protects their vulnerability while attending.

+ Health declarations are to be filled in when booking a session, this is to keep your account up to date (regardless of if there are no changes), it complies with Wildlove insurance policies and keeps Victoria in the know about any personal requirements you may have. Failure to complete a health form will void your booking.

+ Personal space while setting up is important for the events, please do not disturb the setting up time. For many venues we are only allocated a 15 minute set up time before the event starts (or we pay for the extra hour). This is precious time to create the magic, honour the energy, prep the final touches. You will all be welcomed in when the space is ready.

+Weekend down time is incredibly important and its been a slow process to build the boundaries to not do admin on a weekend. I will not be checking emails, social media messages on weekends. I am inundated with 100s emails daily and have a 7 day reply deadline in place. I cannot reply straight away, your email will be flagged and replied to accordingly.

Thank you for being here, for connecting with me, for reading, for listening, for moving with me, for laughing, for sharing and for being a part of the Wildlove family. Allow my connection to you to be a reminder that you can be beautifully human anytime and that when you attend my classes you are accepted and held just as you are.

Thank you for your ongoing love and support,

You are loved,

V x
